Today is a big day for us and based on a lot of feedback, we’ve added tons of new file types that we support in Swipe. We believe that everyone uses different software to create content, and we’d like to accommodate all of those. Slowly but surely, we’re getting there and we’re getting there quickly.

The new supported file types are:

  • PDF (.pdf)
  • Keynote (.key)
  • JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
  • PNG (.png)
  • GIF (not animated GIF)
  • RAW images: Leica .RAW Canon .CR2 Nikon .NEF Fuji .RAF Olympus .ORF
  • SVG (.svg)
  • Photoshop (.psd)
  • Illustrator (.ai)
  • Illustrator EPS (.eps)
  • Markdown (.md)

We’d still always recommend uploading a PDF, as they tend to retain quality much better and the whole uploading process is much faster.

All of the above will work exactly like other files have in Swipe before. You’ll get a responsive output ready to share on any screen, that you can control live for anyone, anywhere to follow along.
